What is PartProtection?
PartProtection's Extended Coverage Plan is a service contract that provides either part repair or replacement on original OEM manufacturer parts. The coverage plans are available in three forms: PartProtection (Service), PartProtection (Part), and PartProtection (Wholesale). PartProtection is available on select parts and extends the manufacturer's warranty up to 60 months* by offering an additional 24 months/ unlimited miles to the manufacturer's original warranty.
Why do I need PartProtection?
Most OEM manufacturer's warranties are for 12 months and 12,000 miles. Per the Department of Transportation, the average number of miles/year driven by people between the ages of 20 and 54 is over 15,000/year! That means you'll typically get less than one year of coverage on your OE part/repair. PartProtection's Extended Coverage Plan comes into play after this period and covers the repair and replacement of your Parts & Labor purchase for an additional 24 months/ unlimited miles on top of the manufacturerï¿½s warranty.

How much does PartProtection Cost?
PartProtection Extended Coverage Plans are a percentage of your Part (For Part Only policies) or Parts & Labor (For Wholesale or Service policies) cost. This depends and varies by year, make, model and part number.
Is there a Deductible?
No deductible is required to exercise your policy.
When will I receive my policy information?
You will receive your policy information via email from PartProtection shortly after your part is shipped from the dealer.
What does PartProtection's Extended Coverage Plan cover?
The PartProtection Extended Coverage Plan (service contract) covers the parts (or) parts & labor, up to the amount shown on your registration page, that are necessary to repair or replace previous parts purchased from the selling Dealer for a total of up to (60*) months from the service contract purchase date. The covered cost will not exceed the original purchase price of the covered part(s).

Are there any parts that are excluded from PartProtection?
Yes, some parts are excluded from PartProtection for a variety of reasons. The option to purchase a PartProtection Extended Coverage Plan will not appear below these items.
Can I cancel my PartProtection policy at anytime?
You may cancel your PartProtection service contract by informing us of your cancellation request within 30 days of purchase. You will receive a 100% refund of the full purchase price of your PartProtection policy. If your cancellation request is made more than 30 days from the date of purchase, you will receive a pro-rata refund of the PartProtection purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any), and less an administrative fee not to exceed 10% of the PartProtection purchase price.
If my parts need to be replaced or repaired can I go to any dealer or Independent Repair facility?
For fastest service, you should go to a PartProtection participating dealer to exercise your policy. You can contact PartProtection directly to find a dealer near you. If there is no PartProtection selling dealer near you, the nearest new car dealer will be able to service your policy.
